On December 7th 2024, the Vice-Province of Kenya celebrated a remarkable group of 11 students who graduated having completed a training program that gave them skills in carpentry. The students also benefited significantly in matters of faith while undergoing training at Depaul Centre. This celebration coincided with the 20th anniversary of DePaul woodworking program. We celebrate the remarkable journey spanning 20 years that has seen so much growth in both training and production.

The 2024 class was a special group since it graduated the first girl – Sharon Onyango. During the graduation the new carpenters were provided with tools to facilitate them in progressing their dreams beyond Depaul Centre.
Without a doubt their dedication, creativity, and perseverance in woodworking reflect the Vincentian virtues and teachings they have acquired throughout their training.

May their creation inspire others.
The Vincentians are proud of you! 🎉
